Therapy Dog Liddy
Liddy is a working dog–she pulls a cart, does pack hikes carrying 20% of her weight, does nose work and barn hunt, and even rings the bell each Christmas for Salvation Army at our local Pioneer Market. Everyone comes to love her (and drops a little in the bucket). Young, old, scruffy, dressed up, loud or timid, Liddy loves them. She is not intimidated by noise or strange objects, but will (like all Swissies) bark at a stranger coming near her house.

Susan RobinsonI am a retired educator–elementary school teacher, administrator and instructor at the college level. I have owned and trained Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs for 10 years, and love offering them working jobs. I garden, do watercolors, volunteer in my small community for three organizations, hike, fish and make cards to send to people who need them. As a teenager, I worked as a nurses’ aide in a Los Angeles hospital.
