Therapy Dog Princess

I got my dog this year after I fostered her from a local rescue. We have little information on her background but because of the type of dog she is we believe she was part of a backyard breeding situation as when getting neutered we where told it was evident she has had many litters. She is 7 years old but still acts like a puppy full of life and energy. If you are crying or in any type of distress she will run right over to comfort you. She alerts me if I am having a panic or anxiety attack as I am not aware of them until it feels like I’m having a heart attack. She is great at cheering you up with cuddles or with her little dances.

I’m a 18 year old high school senior. I do have issues with anxiety and depression. I often have panic attacks but very much of the time I am not aware of them until I feel as if I am having a heart attack. I got Princess when I was suffering from depression from the reality of Covid 19. She has helped me improve my mental health to the point that I no longer feel depressed. She helps me detect these panic attacks and alerts me when to check my heart rate. She has changed my life completely for the better.
